Having previously worked in the construction sector, Chris has a rare blend of commercial realism alongside a detailed technical understanding of environmental risk management. He frequently presents to clients and at conferences, and has been published in various market journals and papers. Chris prizes innovation and pro-active thinking, enabling us to make good on our team promise of ‘always being able to help’.

Simon is an experienced Environmental Lawyer who has been practicing since 1990, first in local government and then as Group Environmental Lawyer for GEC Marconi, one of the largest manufacturing companies in the UK. Simon was one of the founding Directors of Argyll Environmental in 2004 and has remained with the company. He has an in-depth understanding across a range of areas including EHS due-diligence, environmental information and is a chapter author of the leading book on European wilderness protection.

Ali Stanton

Ali leads our commercial team and is responsible for managing the output and quality of all risk assessment reports. She completed an MSc at Brighton University focussed on public participation in Environmental Impact Assessment, auditing and environmental management systems. With many years experience as a senior technical consultant, Ali is well placed to evolve our desktop report portfolio to keep pace with market trends and continue providing market-leading risk assessment.

Jaime Bainbridge

Jaime leads our consultancy team and is responsible for the development and delivery of our suite of bespoke consultancy services.  With an education background focused on water contamination and ecotoxicology, Jaime spent a number of years in Sweden, Russia and Germany studying issues surrounding water pollution. She then crossed to dry land at Argyll in 2005 and focused on contaminated land, energy and carbon management and sustainable building studies.  With this extensive background, Jaime is well placed to deliver and extend our bespoke consultancy services.

Mandy Hawkins

Mandys leads our customer service and insurance teams, having gained over 30 years' experience in property underwriting and managing customer services team for Aviva. Mandy joined Argyll in 2007 to build Ensura, a sister company specialising in contaminated land indemnity. This business now places contaminated land insurance policies to de-risk sites, across our conveyancing, pension and asset management sectors. Since 2007 Mandy has also worked as the facilities manager for our Brighton office and delivered the excellent customer service our customers have grown to expect.

Mark is our dedicated account manager, who ensures each of our clients receive the best possible reports and services for their specific requirements. He completed an MSc focused on Environmental Impact Assessment and has numerous technical qualifications including an IEMA accredited auditor status. This technical background allowed Mark to design many of the risk methodologies currently powering our conveyancing reports. Having developed his technical knowledge as a consultant for over 5 years, Mark can satisfy any client questions and requirements in a way that’s technically sound, yet easy to understand.

Jake Hawkey

Jake is a senior consultant with 5 years' experience in environmental risk management and manages our consultancy team. With an education background including an MSc in Environmental Assessment and Management, Jake has obtained a number of market acceditations including an IEMA accredited auditor status. He works in many areas of the business including the delivery of an IEMA approved auditing course, the development of innovative consultancy services, the professional development of our consultants and the delivery of large consultancy projects.

Sally Redman

Sally is a senior consultant with over 6 years' experience in environmental risk management and consultancy services, including Phase 1 Environmental Assessments and Phase 2 Ground Investigations. She completed an MSc in Contaminated Land Risk Assessment and has numerous market accreditations including an IEMA accredited auditor status and Fellow of the Geological Society. Sally delivers complex and large consultancy projects, including a large scale voluntary transfer of residential properties (over 8,000 units) via bespoke Geographic Information System (GIS) software and reporting.

Keara is part of our consultancy team, having joined Argyll Environmental in 2012. She completed an MSCi in Environmental Geoscience at Durham University and has since gained vast experience of contaminated land and flood risk assessment reporting. Keara is focused on sustaining and improving the quality of our risk assessments, whilst still delivering complex consultancy projects. Having enhanced our reporting services for Ireland (Northern & Republic), Keara also has an acute understanding of international data collection and is a key part of our insurance team.

Tim Champney

Tim is part of our consultancy team, having joined Argyll Environmental in 2014. He gained experience in the construction sector before joining our team, which has helped develop his commercial and practical approach to environmental risk management solutions. Tim is an accredited Associate Environmental Auditor, and manages the delivery of a post-graduate environmental auditing course at the University of Brighton. Tim delivers consultacy projects for our clients, as well as researching international reports and services, most recently in South Africa.

Hannah Burke

Hannah is part of our consultancy team, having joined Argyll in 2014. Hannah previously worked at JBA Consulting where she gained a detailed understanding of flood data and modelling, with a specific focus on the use and application of GIS (Geographic Information Systems). Her academic studies include a BSc in Physical Geography from Aberystwyth University. One of Hannah’s main focuses at Argyll is to develop and evolve our flood risk reports, and ensure we continue to provide innovative and market leading solutions.

Tom Venables

Tom is a consultant with over 5 years’ experience in environmental risk management and consultancy services across the private and public sectors. In the private sector Tom worked in the conveyancing and redevelopment markets in the UK and Canada. In the public sector Tom was most recently the contaminated land specialist for a Council in the South East. At Argyll, Tom works on delivering complex consultancy projects and leads our continually growing commercial team.

Steph Kerr

Steph is part of our consultancy team, having joined Argyll in 2017. Steph previously worked at Capita - Property and Infrastructure, where she specialised in Flood Risk Assessments and gained a detailed understanding of flood data analysis and GIS (Geographic Information Systems). Steph’s academic studies include a BSc Hons in Geography and Natural Hazard Management from the University of Chester. Steph’s focus at Argyll includes the development and evolution of our flood risk reports and services, and the management and delivery of bespoke consultancy projects.

Connie is part of our consultancy team, having joined Argyll in 2017. Connie previously worked at Sevenoaks Environmental Consultancy as a Geo-Environmental Consultant completing contaminated land assessments including Phase 1 and 2 Site Investigations, and Remediation and Validation projects. Connie’s academic studies include a BA in Environment and Planning from the University of Liverpool. Connie’s current focus in Argyll centres on the design and delivery of bespoke consultancy projects.

Eloise Murray

Eloise is part of our consultancy team. She has a BSc in Environmental Science, which included the study of Environmental Law, Environmental Pollution and Environmental Impact Assessment. Following completion of her degree she immediately started working for Argyll in 2015. Since this time Eloise has gained experience carrying out contaminated land and flood risk assessments. Eloise also regularly assists with the delivery of consultancy projects and focuses predominately on the delivery of our portfolio services.

Jasmyn Pierrepont

Jasmyn joined Argyll in September 2014 as an Apprentice Administrator and successfully completing an NVQ in Business Administration. Her current role as business administrator is critical to the successful operation of our report and services, and the continued satisfaction of our customers. Jasmyn’s diverse role includes maintaining external data collection, processing customer orders, resolving queries and advising on suitable searches for a wide variety of customer needs.

Teree Scott

Teree is part of our consultancy team having joined Argyll in 2016. Teree was awarded a Distinction from Brighton University for an MSc in Environmental Assessment and Management focusing on environmental law and contaminated land. During her masters, Teree completed a placement at the Ouse and Adur Rivers Trust, working on ideas to manage flood risk. Since starting Argyll, Teree has gained experience carrying out contaminated land and flood risk assessments. Her main activities involve the delivery of contaminated land consultancy projects, including Phase 1 environmental assessments.

Elizabeth Murray-Clark

Lizzie is part of our consultancy team having gained experience carrying out contaminated land and flood risk assessments. Her academic studies included an MSc in Environment and Development from Lancaster University, where she specialised in Environmental Pollution and Ecotoxicology. After university Lizzie worked as an air quality research assistant for DEFRA, gaining valuable knowledge used to create the Breathe in Brighton campaign. This campaign works with a local charity to increase awareness of the topic and impacts of air pollution in Brighton.
