He frequently presents to clients and at conferences, and has been published in various market journals and papers. Chris prizes innovation and pro-active thinking, enabling us to make good on our team promise of ‘always being able to help’.

Simon is an experienced Environmental Lawyer who has been practicing since 1990, first in local government and then as Group Environmental Lawyer for GEC Marconi, one of the largest manufacturing companies in the UK. Simon was one of the founding Directors of Argyll Environmental in 2004 and has remained with the company. He has an in-depth understanding across a range of areas including EHS due-diligence, environmental information and is a chapter author of the leading book on European wilderness protection.

Ali leads our commercial team and is responsible for managing the output and quality of all risk assessment reports. She completed an MSc at Brighton University focussed on public participation in Environmental Impact Assessment, auditing and environmental management systems. With many years experience as a senior technical consultant, Ali is well placed to evolve our desktop report portfolio to keep pace with market trends and continue providing market-leading risk assessment.

Mandys leads our customer service and insurance teams, having gained over 30 years' experience in property underwriting and managing customer services team for Aviva. Mandy joined Argyll in 2007 to build Ensura, a sister company specialising in contaminated land indemnity. This business now places contaminated land insurance policies to de-risk sites, across our conveyancing, pension and asset management sectors. Since 2007 Mandy has also worked as the facilities manager for our Brighton office and delivered the excellent customer service our customers have grown to expect.

Mark is our dedicated account manager, who ensures each of our clients receive the best possible reports and services for their specific requirements. He completed an MSc focused on Environmental Impact Assessment and has numerous technical qualifications including an IEMA accredited auditor status. This technical background allowed Mark to design many of the risk methodologies currently powering our conveyancing reports. Having developed his technical knowledge as a consultant for over 5 years, Mark can satisfy any client questions and requirements in a way that’s technically sound, yet easy to understand.

Jake Hawkey

Jake is a senior consultant with 5 years' experience in environmental risk management and manages our consultancy team. With an education background including an MSc in Environmental Assessment and Management, Jake has obtained a number of market acceditations including an IEMA accredited auditor status. He works in many areas of the business including the delivery of an IEMA approved auditing course, the development of innovative consultancy services, the professional development of our consultants and the delivery of large consultancy projects.

Sally is a senior consultant with over 6 years' experience in environmental risk management and consultancy services, including Phase 1 Environmental Assessments and Phase 2 Ground Investigations. She completed an MSc in Contaminated Land Risk Assessment and has numerous market accreditations including an IEMA accredited auditor status and Fellow of the Geological Society. Sally delivers complex and large consultancy projects, including a large scale voluntary transfer of residential properties (over 8,000 units) via bespoke Geographic Information System (GIS) software and reporting.

Keara Masrani

Keara is part of our consultancy team, having joined Argyll Environmental in 2012. She completed an MSci in Environmental Geoscience at Durham University and has since gained vast experience of contaminated land and flood risk reporting. Keara is focused on sustaining and improving the quality of our risk assessments, whilst still delivering complex consultancy projects. Keara is currently the acting Contaminated Land Officer and environmental advisor to Christchurch & East Dorset Council. Keara manages the provision of Part 2A regulatory functions and planning advice services for the Councils (including the review of all environmental conditions within specific planning applications), and responding to Environmental Information Requests. 

Charles Krolik-Root

Charles began working with Argyll whilst completing an MSc course in GIS and Environmental Management at the University of Brighton. His primary role was in the design, creation and implementation of Landmark’s Risk Assessed Land Register. Following this Charles moved into the consultancy team where he continued to work alongside the University of Brighton in publishing an article titled “Effective LiDAR-based modelling and visualisation of managed retreat scenarios for coastal planning: An example from the southern UK” in the peer reviewed journal Ocean and Coastal Management. Charles went on to work at Capita Real Estate and Infrastructure as a GIS Consultant on projects spanning flood alleviation, ecology, land quality and high speed rail. Charles has since returned to Argyll as a Senior Consultant with a strong focus on GIS, alongside contaminated land and flood risk.

Hannah Burke

Hannah is part of our consultancy team, having joined Argyll in 2014. Hannah previously worked at JBA Consulting where she gained a detailed understanding of flood data and modelling, with a specific focus on the use and application of GIS (Geographic Information Systems). Her academic studies include a BSc in Physical Geography from Aberystwyth University. One of Hannah’s main focuses at Argyll is to develop and evolve our flood risk reports, and ensure we continue to provide innovative and market leading solutions.

Tom Venables

Tom is a consultant with over 5 years’ experience in environmental risk management and consultancy services across the private and public sectors. In the private sector Tom worked in the conveyancing and redevelopment markets in the UK and Canada. In the public sector Tom was most recently the contaminated land specialist for a Council in the South East. At Argyll, Tom works on delivering complex consultancy projects and leads our continually growing commercial team.

Steph Kerr

Steph is part of our consultancy team, having joined Argyll in 2017. Steph previously worked at Capita - Property and Infrastructure, where she specialised in Flood Risk Assessments and gained a detailed understanding of flood data analysis and GIS (Geographic Information Systems). Steph’s academic studies include a BSc Hons in Geography and Natural Hazard Management from the University of Chester. Steph’s focus at Argyll includes the development and evolution of our flood risk reports and services, and the management and delivery of bespoke consultancy projects.

Connie is part of our consultancy team, having joined Argyll in 2017. Connie previously worked at Sevenoaks Environmental Consultancy as a Geo-Environmental Consultant completing contaminated land assessments including Phase 1 and 2 Site Investigations, and Remediation and Validation projects. Connie’s academic studies include a BA in Environment and Planning from the University of Liverpool. Connie’s current focus in Argyll centres on the design and delivery of bespoke consultancy projects.

Jasmyn Pierrepont

Jasmyn joined Argyll in September 2014 as an Apprentice Administrator and successfully completing an NVQ in Business Administration. Her current role as Senior Administrator is critical to the successful operation of our report and services, and the continued satisfaction of our customers. Jasmyn’s diverse role includes maintaining external data collection, processing customer orders, resolving queries and advising on suitable searches for a wide variety of customer needs.

Teree Scott

Teree is part of our consultancy team having joined Argyll in 2016. Teree was awarded a Distinction from Brighton University for an MSc in Environmental Assessment and Management focusing on environmental law and contaminated land. During her masters, Teree completed a placement at the Ouse and Adur Rivers Trust, working on ideas to manage flood risk. Since starting Argyll, Teree has gained experience carrying out contaminated land and flood risk assessments. Her main activities involve the delivery of contaminated land consultancy projects, including Phase 1 environmental assessments.

Lizzie Murray-Clark

Lizzie is part of our consultancy team, having joined Argyll in 2016. Lizzie received a Distinction from Lancaster University for an MSc in Environment and Development, where she specialised in Environmental Pollution and Ecotoxicology. Since joining Argyll Lizzie has gained experience carrying out contaminated land and flood risk assessments, and now coordinates the marketing and social media of Argyll. Lizzie also created Breathe in Brighton, an awareness campaign with the aim to inform the public of the negative health impacts of poor air quality in Brighton and work collaboratively with the community, schools and the Council to identify viable solutions to combat it.

Tom Leckey

Tom is part of our consultancy team, having joined Argyll in 2016 after graduating with a BSc in Geography from the University of Leicester. Since starting at Argyll, Tom has gained experience in the assessment of both flood risk and contaminated land, with a focus on contaminated land liability assessments and Phase 1 site investigations. Tom's role also includes being responsible for the account management of a key client, the delivery of site-specific consultancy projects, and increasing the quality of Argyll risk assessments.
